IRUM

One of the companies that bring prestige to the city is IRUM, a company specialized in machinery and equipment construction, founded in 1953.

Since 1999, IRUM has been a Romanian capital private company, having Maviprod as main shareholder.

While initially IRUM focused on production, development and services dedicated to logging equipment, 2010 marked the beginning of a new chapter, namely agricultural machinery.

The following years brought a lot of new developments, 2015 saw the inauguration of the Research and Development Center for Agricultural and Forestry Equipment, with Romanian share capital, unique in the country, while 2016 brought the launch of a new tractor model - TAF, 2012 G, with pliers, designed in the Research and Development Center.

At present, IRUM exports to over 10 countries around the world, being one of the foremost players in the domestic forestry market.
